Chirag Chikkara Wins Gold at U23 World Wrestling Championships

Chirag Chikkara clinched a gold medal at the U23 World Wrestling Championships, making him the third Indian to ever win an Under-23 world championship. India amassed a total of nine medals during the competition, featuring one gold and one silver. Chikkara triumphed in the men’s freestyle 57kg category with a close 4-3 victory against Abdymalik Karachov from Kyrgyzstan in the final moments of the match.
