Jeeno Thitikul Wins Portland Classic With Closing 64
Jeeno Thitikul closed with an 8-under 64 on Sunday to win The Standard Portland Classic by one shot, collecting her third LPGA Tour title of the season at Columbia Edgewater Country Club in Portland, Oregon.
Thitikul finished at 22-under 266 after producing a fast start that featured five consecutive birdies early in her final round. The 23-year-old from Thailand led an all-Thai finish, with Arpichaya Yubol posting a 67 and Chanettee Wannasaen recording a 63 to share second place.
The victory was Thitikul’s 10th LPGA Tour win, and it put her among eight players to reach 10 or more LPGA victories before turning 24. She also joined Nelly Korda as a three-time winner on the LPGA Tour this year.
Five straight birdies set up Portland victory
Thitikul’s closing 64 was the defining score of the final day. Her run of five straight birdies early in the round gave her the momentum needed to complete a rally and move into position for the title.
She ultimately separated herself by one shot in a tightly contested finish. Yubol and Wannasaen both produced low final rounds, but Thitikul’s 8-under effort was enough to secure the trophy at Columbia Edgewater Country Club.
Yubol had shared the 54-hole lead with Sophia Schubert entering Sunday. She stayed in contention with her 67, while Wannasaen’s 63 was the lowest final-round score among the three Thai players at the top of the leaderboard. Both finished tied for second behind Thitikul.
Schubert, who began the day tied for the lead alongside Yubol, carded a 71 and finished fourth. Her final-round score left Thitikul, Yubol and Wannasaen occupying the top three places in Portland.
For Thitikul, the result added another significant chapter to an already productive 2026 season. Winning three times in a season places her alongside Korda among the LPGA Tour’s multiple winners this year, while the Portland title also delivered a major career milestone.
Career milestone and $300,000 prize
By reaching her 10th LPGA Tour victory before her 24th birthday, Thitikul became the eighth player to achieve that mark. The Portland win came with $300,000 in prize money and moved her closer to $20 million in career earnings.
The final leaderboard underlined Thailand’s strength at the event. Thitikul took the title at 22-under 266, while Yubol and Wannasaen shared second after their Sunday rounds of 67 and 63, respectively. Schubert completed the tournament in fourth after her 71.
Thitikul’s combination of an early birdie surge and a closing 64 proved decisive. In a final round featuring several strong scores from the leading contenders, she delivered the performance that turned a one-shot margin into her third LPGA Tour win of the year and her 10th overall.
