Mohun Bagan Adds Four Sponsors for 2026-27 ISL Season

Mohun Bagan Super Giant has added four sponsors ahead of the 2026-27 Indian Super League season, broadening its commercial portfolio while continuing to search for a front-of-shirt partner.

The Kolkata-based club has brought in Arun Ice Cream as a co-partner, SRMB TMT as an associate sponsor, FREEMANS as official tools partner and Alliance Broadband as an additional associate sponsor. The additions cover food, construction materials, tools and telecommunications services, giving the club commercial relationships across four separate business categories.

Financial terms and the duration of the agreements have not been disclosed. The latest deals nonetheless expand the club’s group of partners as it prepares for the new ISL campaign following a second-place finish in the previous season.

Four categories added to the commercial portfolio

Arun Ice Cream takes up the co-partner position in the new set of agreements. Steel manufacturer SRMB TMT has joined as an associate sponsor, while FREEMANS has become the club’s official tools partner. Alliance Broadband has also entered the portfolio as an associate sponsor.

The range of partnerships means Mohun Bagan has added brands from distinct sectors rather than concentrating its latest sponsorship activity in one area. Each agreement provides a designated commercial association with the club, while the partners gain access to a football platform with a strong regional identity and an established supporter base.

For the club, the agreements add to its commercial network before the 2026-27 season. The scale of the expansion cannot be quantified from the available information because the value of the deals has not been made public.

The partnerships arrive as Mohun Bagan prepares under head coach Panagiotis Dilmperis. The squad has also added new arrivals including Lallianzuala Chhangte, alongside players such as Jamie Maclaren and Manvir Singh.

Front-of-shirt search remains unresolved

Despite confirming the four new partners, Mohun Bagan remains without a front-of-shirt sponsor for the coming season. The front-of-shirt position is among the most prominent commercial placements available on a football jersey, making it a potentially significant remaining piece of the club’s sponsorship portfolio.

ETSportsWorld reported on October 15 that an announcement on that position was expected in the coming days. However, neither the identity of a potential sponsor nor the value of any prospective agreement has been confirmed.

That unresolved search means the club’s commercial work is not complete even after the latest announcements. A front-of-shirt agreement would sit alongside the new co-partner, associate sponsor and official partner arrangements, adding another major association ahead of the ISL season.

The four deals also underline the wider use of category-based partnerships in Indian football. Rather than relying solely on a principal sponsor, clubs can create multiple commercial positions for brands from different industries. In Mohun Bagan’s case, the new agreements bring ice cream, steel, tools and broadband services into the portfolio.

With the financial details undisclosed, the immediate significance is the breadth of the club’s partner roster. Mohun Bagan will now look to build on those relationships and resolve the front-of-shirt vacancy as preparations for the 2026-27 ISL season continue.
